We are glad you're here

Welcome

We’re Always Excited to Welcome New Visitors

At Cartersville SDA Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect.

Sabbath School begins at 10 am, and the Worship Service begins at 11:15 am.

When the weather is nice, you will most likely find that our Worship Service is being held in our outdoor pavilion. We hope that you will enjoy worshipping in nature as much as we do. Chairs are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.

Our church is located at 311 Old Mill Road, and parking is located behind the church.

Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church,

for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. You can expect to see everything from suits and ties to casual dress. The most important things is that you are here to worship with us.

When you walk in,

find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors, and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the Sabbath School classrooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.

Be sure to hang around after the service.

You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.

What To Expect

During the service,

you'll hear our faith expressed in the songs we sing, prayers we offer up and our pastor's preaching. All parts of our service are grounded in the Bible, which we are committed to upholding. At Cartersville SDA Church, we have a more traditional service.

No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sabbath. Here at Cartersville SDA, you'll find people of all sizes, stripes and colors, and we welcome everyone--including you.

Ministries

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works."

(Hebrews 10:24)

At Cartersville SDA Church, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith.  Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes.  Please come and join us.

Stitch and Fellowship Ladies Ministry

This Women's Ministry meets every other Tuesday in the fellowship room from 6:30-9 pm. It provides opportunities for women to get together to have a devotional and grow friendships while working on their own quilting projects. You can bring your sewing machine, or handwork of any kind, it doesn't have to be quilting. Please check the Events Calendar to find the next meeting.
